We are dedicated to creating vibrant communities that act as agents of change, transforming the way we view and care for the 800,000 young people who experience foster care in America. We invite you to learn more about Treehouse and join us in our efforts to improve the lives of the 800,000 children in foster care throughout the United States. Since it began, Treehouse has garnered the support of policy makers, leaders in the private and non-profit sectors and a host of other supporters and volunteers. This includes the development of replicable programs that offer people of all ages an array of opportunities to support children in their own communities. We are working to do this by building model programs that provide children with enduring family relationships and supportive community connections. ![]() The mission of Treehouse is to help children who experience foster care find new hope and new beginnings through the development of programs, practices and partnerships that address fundamental issues of foster care and foster care adoption. Treehouse was established in 2002 by a foster/adoptive parent with a vision: to improve conditions for children in our public foster care system and the families and communities who care for them. ![]()
